Synopsis

Set in Korea's medieval Joseon period, it tells the story of Crown Prince Lee Chang, who becomes embroiled in a coup/political conspiracy and is forced to embark upon a mission to investigate the spread of a mysterious undead plague that has beset the current emperor and the country's southern provinces.

Review

As I am a huge fan of historical dramas, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The acting of the undead was exceptional, the political plot was enticing and the series' explanation and build-up of the background of the disease was amazing. It truly left me on the edge of my seat. Kingdom is one of the best Zombie Korean Dramas I have seen thus far and I am praying day and night for a season three!
